The Story Woman's Club was the site of a public meeting Wednesday night where officials with Sheridan County went over the proposed amendments to zoning regulations regarding riparian areas in Sheridan County that would establish a riparian buffer zone of at least 50 feet from the high water mark pertaining to any buildable lot. Tonight, the County's Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the changes at their regularly scheduled meeting.
There will be a public hearing on the amendments this evening at 5:30 pm in the County Commissioners' Board room located on the 2nd floor of the Sheridan County Courthouse. County Commissioner Steve Maier.
The County Commissioner will also hold a public hearing on the issue at their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, August 20th at 9 am. A copy of the proposed amendments to the County's zoning regulations can be viewed by clicking on the attachment located below.
