County Clerk Candidates Discuss Position

Three of the four candidates for Sheridan County Clerk were guests on News/Talk 930 KROE'S Public Pulse program Thursday. The fourth candidate, Dave DeBolt appeared as a guest a few weeks ago, as he had a prior commitment and could not be on with the other candidates.

Eda Schunk Thompson, who is the Interim Clerk, explains why she's the best candidate for the position.

Candidate Gordon Rose tells us what he could bring to the job, if given the opportunity.

Candidate Linda St. Clair feels that things aren't being run properly at the County Clerk's office, and that she would like to turn things around.

So we're going to elect a county clerk at $60k a year,to then turn all their responsibility over to an office manager who's currently making $82k a year,which is more then either the sheriff or airport manager makes.And the current office manager has no credentials other then being friends with terry cram and having terry give her the job as a result.
