The Sheridan County Public Works Road and Bridge Department is scheduled to apply magnesium chloride on a number of county roads next week. The application of the dust control and road stabilization agent will take place on Wild Horse Road, County Road #38; Echeta Road, County Road #293 and Upper Powder River Road, County Road #273. Crews will be applying the mag chloride between 7am and 4pm Monday through Thursday of next week.
A news release issued by Sheridan County reminds motorists to drive with caution when driving these roads and to use alternate routes if possible as there may be delays during the application process. The release further states that if you're unable to find an alternate route, it is advised that you wash your car as soon as possible afterward.
