The Buffalo Senior Center received three proposals on their Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning Study and they have decided on a consultant, according to Senior Center Director AJ Mock.
Mock told the Johnson County Commissioners they had picked a consultant from Sheridan with much experience.
The consultant has since sent a contract to the senior center for their approval and the signature of the commission chair.
Mock has sent the contract to Assistant County Attorney Barry Crago for his approval, and the commission voted to approve the chair signing the agreement pending Crago's approval.
The consultant will begin working on the study to replace the HVAC system at the senior center.
