Monday's Sheridan City Council work session dealt with Travel & Tourism and Recreation. Sheridan Travel and Tourism Executive Director Penny Becker pointed out an interesting fact about local tourism and taxes.
The Council also heard from Sheridan Recreation District Director Richard Wright, who stated that preliminary budget numbers show that the District will receive a 46% cut in the money they receive from the City.
Wright also stated that the Rec. District is continuously looking at better and more efficient ways to manage their employees and their programs.
