The North Main Association has announced that they are launching an economic growth initiative that will target the North Main corridor in Sheridan. As part of the initiative, the North Main Association is pledging $15,000 that will be put toward preliminary plans. The association will also be seeking $50,000 in matching funds from the City of Sheridan one-cent funds that are earmarked for economic development.
The Sheridan City Council tonight will consider approval of the North Main Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.
Also on Council's agenda this evening is 3rd and final reading of an ordinance granting a franchise agreement with UPN to provide fiber optics for all of the schools within Sheridan County School District Two.
