The Sheridan High Tech Business Park landscaping project consists of the installation of 54 trees and a drip irrigation system for the trees along High Tech Road within the business park in north Sheridan. City of Sheridan Project Manager Joe Schoen explains that earlier projects at the business park came in below the engineer's estimate, which allowed for some of the left over money from a state grant to be used for the landscaping project.
Schoen says that the 54 trees along High Tech Road will somewhat resemble the entrance to the Sheridan VA.
The Sheridan City Council Monday night awarded the bid for the project to Highland, Inc in the amount of $54,640. The project is fully funded with appropriations from a Wyoming Business Council grant that the City received in 2010.
