The consultant that was hired by the Sheridan Economic Educational and Development Authority to work on phase one of the career and technical education training study, has been finishing up that first phase with interviews in Sheridan this week. Joel Simon with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning has been meeting with officials with Sheridan College and School District #2 prior to finalizing the phase one report.
The SEEDA Board set a date on when they'd like that phase one report finished for their review before moving forward with a contract for phase two of the study. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs.
The initial phase of the CTET study cost $25,000 and was funded from funds SEEDA put aside for economic development from revenue generated from the sale of lots at the High-Tech Business Park in North Sheridan. The Wyoming Business Council has already approved the grant funding for phase two of the study. SEEDA set a June 3 date for Simon to have the phase one report complete.
