At their last meeting, the Johnson County School Board heard an update from District Business Manager Matt Ramey on the status of the new Cloud Peak Elementary School.
Ramey said he and Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler attended the School Facilities Commission meeting in March, and he told them what happened.
The district has had a pre-construction meeting and expects dirt work to commence sometime this week. A “breaking ground” ceremony has been planned for this wek as well, but has not been scheduled as yet.
In a letter released by the District March 23, Dr. Kessler addresses neighbors of Cloud Peak Elementary School, saying workers will be on-site, setting boundary markers, moving equipment, and preparing for work to commence.
