Thursday night nearly 800 people of all ages filled the Sheridan Wesleyan Church to listen to the bands The Museum, Chasen and Kutless. Local promoter Dave Tarver arranged to bring them here, the only stop in Wyoming on a 25-state tour.
Bringing in about $14,000 before expenses, Tarver says that they were able to give a fairly sizable gift to Dale and Kristi Hall to help with adoption and medical expenses of their two Ethiopian daughters, Olivia and Sophia.
One of the things that made the concert such a success was that people left their particular denominations at the door – it was all about fellowship and worship in a Christian rock setting.
Hungry for that caliber of talent, the feedback Tarver and the other volunteers who helped bring the three groups here has been such that the future looks bright for more concerts of this type.
