Saturday, the Sheridan College Outdoor Adventure Club hosted a gear swap at the Watt Agricultural Building and folks were ready to catch a bargain, even as winter weather moved into Sheridan.
Club member Trapper Rieniets says the early birds were there to pick up some great buys.
Club advisor, Julie Davidson was excited with the turnout.
Davidson gives a rundown of what was for sale.
A fundraiser fo the club which is new to the Sheridan College Campus, Rieniets says the gear swap is a great opportunity for the community, but also benefits the club.
The gear swap had two benefits. It gave folks a chance to clean out their garages of gear they no longer use and provided the opportunity to shop for used equipment. Expectations are the gear swap will get bigger and better in the years to come.
