CHEYENNE (AP) - The first Wyoming Summit on Community Colleges has been postponed because of weather. The event was scheduled to take place Wednesday in Cheyenne.
The Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees says a snowstorm bearing down on the Cheyenne area prompted the postponement.
The event was expected to attract educators, lawmakers, administrators and trustees from around the state to discuss the role of community colleges in ensuring students are prepared for a global economy.
The association has not set a rescheduled date for the event yet.
