Thanksgiving is next week, and after that, all bets are off when it comes to the full-fledged holiday season. While the holidays are fun, they can entail a tremendous amount of stress as well.
Teddy Araas, owner of Balanced Living, Health and Wellbeing Consultants, LLC, says people often overextend themselves during this time of the year.
Araas will present a one-hour class to the community, free of charge, at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Using her extensive background in stress management, she's offering advice on how to get through the holidays unscathed by the multiple commitments that often come with the holidays.
Sometimes, the source of holiday stress is being alone, financial struggles, or the anniversary of loosing a loved one, or even just trying to attend multiple parties and obligations in a short amount of time that leaves people burned out. Araas says now is the time to be prepared for the onslaught that's just around thecorner.
