At their last meeting the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees were given an update on the bidding process and status for commissioning of the new Cloud Peak School when it is completed in mid-2013.
School District Business Manager Matt Ramey told the board that three bids were received and that the three bidders were to give presentations on their bids late last week.
Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler said the commissioning process is new, and representatives from the School Facilities Commission were also expected to be here for the presentations and then help with the recommendation on which proposal to accept to the school board at their next meeting.
Ramey also gave some good news to the board about a recent general audit, which Ramey said the auditor told him was the cleanest she has ever been involved with.
The full audit report will be given to the board at their next meeting October 22nd as well.
