The Sheridan County Commissioners made quick work out of a short agenda Tuesday. Commissioners approved a Conditional Use Permit from the SAWS Joint Powers Board to construct a buried 1.5 million gallon concrete water tank adjacent to the current Big Goose Water Treatment Plant.
Commission Chairman Tom Ringley says that the clearwell will also help address turbidity.
The Commissioners also approved the bid award to Mountain View Builders of Sheridan for the improvements to the infield area at the Fairgrounds. The bid came in at $54,000, which was much lower than the engineer's estimate of just over 74,000.
