A current Sheridan County Commissioner has announced his intent to run for re-election. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.
Commissioner Bob Rolston announced Thursday that he plans to seek another term on the Sheridan County Board of Commissioners. Rolston was first elected in 2006 and is currently finishing his second term. He talks about what led to his decision to seek re-election.
The Commissioner said that there are a number of ongoing issues that he'd like to continue to address if re-elected.
Rolston is the third commissioner to announce his bid for re-election this week, as Terry Cram and Steve Maier have also announced a run for another term. Cram is the current commission chairman. In a release, he said he's proud of his record and takes credit for being part of a system that has benefited the residents of Sheridan County. Cram, like Rolston, agreed that the comprehensive plan is something he feels needs to be reviewed and readdressed in the near future.
Maier said, in his release, that the county's comprehensive plan has been updated and expanded, providing guidance for managed growth that protects the values shared by everyone in the county.
