The Sheridan College Outdoor Adventure Club is once again gearing up to host a community gear swap a week from this Saturday. According to a media release from Sheridan College, the sale is open to the public, with no admission charged. The drop-off period to sell used equipment will be from 4-8 Friday April 4, the day before the sale.
Those interested can bring their gear to the Whitney Atrium, pay the entry fees and set a price for each of the items to be sold. The news release states that the club charges $2 per item sold and 10 percent of each sale goes to the club. Unsold gear can be picked up Saturday afternoon, following the sale, between 3-5. Alternative arrangements for pick up can be arranged by calling the college, or the items can be donated to the club.
The Gear Swap will take place Saturday, April 5, from 8 to 1, on campus at the Whitney Academic Center Atrium.
