We're seeing changes in downtown Sheridan. Pat Blair has the report.

Sheridan College has moved out of the facility at the corner of Main Street and Grinnell Plaza, and the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce is moving in this week. After seven years in the building in downtown Sheridan, college officials chose not to renew the lease this year. Art work, furniture and other supplies belonging to the college have been returned to the campus on Coffeen Avenue.

Cheryl Heath, vice president and chief financial officer, said the college will maintain a downtown presence.

She said the Broadway center has rented office space to other businesses in the past, and the college is expanding into those areas as the leases of existing tenants expire. The vice president said the college currently occupies 90 percent of the Broadway building.
