College District Board Of Trustees Seeking Public Input On Presidential Search

The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees has announced that they will be holding two public forums next week to help aid in the search and recruitment of a new president. In a media release issued by Sheridan College, it was noted that Dr. Pamila Fisher, an associate of the Association of Community College Trustees will be seeking input concerning the college's current and future challenges and opportunities and preferred qualifications for the next president.

The consultant will describe the search process and ask for input from the public on a number of questions during each public forum. The data collected in these forums will be used to develop a position profile that will be submitted to the Board of Trustees for their approval. The profile will then be used to recruit and evaluate all candidates for the position.

Both public presidential search forums will be held next Tuesday January 19th. The first will take place at Gillette College from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the Gillette College Presentation Hall. The second forum will be at the Sheridan College CTEL Presentation Hall from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
