This weeks' sheridanmedia.com poll question asks the people of Sheridan whether they think same-sex marriages should be legal.
According to the poll results so far, the majority of voters do not think the government should acknowledge homosexual marriages, and most of those opposed cite Biblical reasons for their opinion. Lauren Anderson-Youngblood, spokesperson for the Secular Coalition for America, says the Bible is a bad reason to make a law.
Marriage, to some people, is strictly a religious concept. However, to others, it's mostly a convenient way to conduct life with someone else and have legal benefits.
