Time is running out to nominate a teacher for the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Awards, as the nominations must be postmarked by January 10, 2011. Vice President of External Affairs for Arch Coal’s Western Region Greg Schaefer explains the process of how the teachers are picked for the awards.
The Arch Coal Foundation will announce the 10 winners of the awards near the end of this school year. Each recipient will receive a $3,500 personal award. Nomination forms are available at schools, Taco John’s and Loaf ‘N Jug locations and local libraries throughout the state. Nominations can also be made online by clicking here.
