The fate of the old Clear Creek School Building may not be crystal clear yet, but some questions have been answered after Monday's work session between the Buffalo City Council and the Johnson County School District Board of Trustees.
The district will be vacating the building within the next couple of years, and the question is what will then become of the building. The City of Buffalo has first right of refusal on the property and looks to at least be interested enough to have a feasibility study done on the possible uses of the building.
JCSD1 Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler explains further.
Kessler said the feasibiolity study will probably take the spring and summer to complete before the city would know what direction they want to go.
The school board, he said, will not be taking any action on the matter until after the city's study is completed.
