Efforts to preserve the value of Wyoming coal will be the focus of a symposium scheduled at the University of Wyoming Thursday. Diana Hulme is the Deputy Director of the University's School of Energy Resources and she says the symposium will highlight completed projects funded by the State's Clean Coal Technology Fund.
In 2007 the Wyoming State Legislature created the Clean Coal Technology Fund, which now supports 42 projects to improve technology and reduce the costs of producing low-emission electricity and fuels from Wyoming coal.
