After 8 months, the City of Sheridan Curbside Recycling Pilot Program is nearing an end, as they will be picking up both containers that have been used in the program Monday February 28th, and Tuesday March 1st from the Sparrow Hawk Subdivision. The containers from the Mountain View Subdivision will be picked up Tuesday March 8th, and Wednesday March 9th.

City of Sheridan Recycling Coordinator Shanon Short says that the program was very successful.

There will be a Council work session at City Hall on Wednesday March 23rd to review the numbers from the pilot program.

A grant in the amount of $31,000 along with matching funds from the City of over $16,000 funded the program.
