City Working With Utility Partners to Make Sheridan Shovel Ready

Attracting businesses to Sheridan has been one of the top priorities of local agencies such as Forward Sheridan and the Sheridan Area Economic Development Task Force. The City is playing their part as well explains Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

Kinskey says that they've been meeting with local utility providers in hopes of providing what is needed to bring businesses to Sheridan, in particular, the High-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan and the Sheridan Commercial Park in south Sheridan.

Earlier this week we reported on the SEEDA Board agreeing to take part in the Wyoming Business Council's Site Certification Program, in which a national site selector would help Sheridan to become shovel ready to attract outside businesses. The City Council will consider using one-cent funds to take part in the Business Council program.
