A resolution supporting Wyoming Governor Matt Mead's Unified Network proposal to connect high speed networks within the state, regionally and nationally, was approved by the Sheridan City Council this week. City Councilman Alex says that what the Governor is proposing is a two phased initiative.
The councilman says that the governor's goal is to leverage the State's buying power.
Phase one of the Unified Network is scheduled to be completed early next year. Funding for phase two implementation will be included in the governor's 2015-16 biennium budget.
