The City of Sheridan will continue to take applications for the empty ward 3 council seat up until the end of the business day Monday, April 7. City Clerk/Acting Treasurer Scott Badley says that a decision on the appointee should be made that evening.

Badley explains that there's been a change to the number of people that have applied for the position.

The Clerk said that Val Burgess is the individual who's withdrawn themselves from consideration. The ward 3 seat has been vacant since January, when Councilman Levi Dominguez announced his resignation.
