The Sheridan City Council approved a resolution Tuesday night which sponsors a grant application to the state from Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns. Habitat is requesting a Community Development Block Grant from the Wyoming Business Council to acquire five lots that would be used for affordable housing. Habitat Executive Director Jessica Lindsley.
The CDBG that Habitat is applying for is in the amount of $147,724. The five lots that they are looking to acquire for affordable housing are in the Poplar Grove subdivision.
