The City of Sheridan received some good news Thursday from the State in regards to phase two of the Wyoming Park project. The SLIB Board approved a $2.4 million drinking water state revolving fund loan with a principle forgiveness of $1.2 million.
That's City of Sheridan Engineer Lane Thompson, who says the loan will be used toward phase two of the Wyoming Park project.
Thompson said that the will bid the project later this month and will most likely award the bid at the end of March. Cost of phase one of the project was approximately $2.5 million. The overall cost of the multi-phase project is estimated at $10 million.
