The third in a series of public workshops on community transportation planning will be held this evening from 5:30 to 7 at the Highland Park Recreation Facility, 1301 Avon.
The City is working to develop a community transportation policy plan that will create a framework on which to base future transportation decisions. Goals, objectives and strategies within the plan are intended to provide the City with the tools needed to protect the safety, identity and economy of the community.
Tonight's meeting is intended to share the draft policy plan with the public and to hear public comment on the goals and strategies set forth in the plan. The draft policy plan document and other information about the planning process is available for review on the project website, www.sheridantranplan.com
