The City of Sheridan continues to work on developing a purchasing policy that will most likely be implemented in early September. The City Council were presented with a draft review of the policy and tabled the item until a date certain of Tuesday, September 6th. City Assistant Treasurer Haley Clark says that the purchasing policy will cover a number of different things.
Clark stated that her and the Treasurer have been working on the policy for a number of months.
Over the next month Clark and Treasurer Jennifer Reed will work with John Smith from DSA, Ryan Franklin from the Chamber and Councilors Steve Brantz and John Bigelow to work on the final draft that will be presented to Council in early September.
