Department heads with the City of Sheridan along with representatives with Rocky Mountain Ambulance held a media conference Friday to discuss EMS in Sheridan. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the details.
Police Chief Richard Adriaens, Fire Chief Patrick Reitz, City Clerk Scott Badley, and Marc Ketcham and Rick Ballard with Rocky Mountain Ambulance were all in attendance for the round table discussion. Police Chief Adriaens stated that the public shouldn't be concerned about a drop off in service with Rocky Mountain providing EMS.
Fire Chief Reitz echoed the Police Chief's statement by adding that RMA wouldn't have made an offer if they weren't capable of providing the service.
Terms of the contract state that RMA must provide a monthly report to the City for evaluation. We'll have more from the media conference for you Monday throughout the various newscasts on our Sheridan Media stations.
