Green waste is flooding the local landfills, and city crews are working overtime, which comes after a long winter of clearing snow.

He said the county has placed sand and bags at the fairgrounds for those who want to bag their own and the city is holding a thousand bags, plus, in reserve, just in case they’re needed.
