The Buffalo City Council was updated on maintenance work and other small jobs that will be performed at the City's outdoor pool in the coming weeks to prep for its opening later this spring.
City Works Director Les Hook reported that crews were busy readying the outdoor pool for the summer.
Hook also said that the raw water line is on and will be available for use by the golf course, city park and schools.
The high-pressure water line to the new school is up to pressure, he said, although they have seen some breaks in water lines in the area and expect more before it is up and running full time. Water users in the area can expect a 30 psi increase in pressure once it is operational.
Two street sweepers have been working full-time on city streets since the weather has improved.
Finally, Hook said as soon as the city's hot mix plant is fired up, repairs to alleyways in the city will begin as will the asphalt project on Butte Street and Railroad Avenue near the recycling center.
