The City of Sheridan Public Works Department went over their Capital Improvement Plan Monday during the City Council's latest budget work session. The City has $12 million budgeted for capital projects in the upcoming fiscal year. City Engineer Lane Thompson also highlighted some of the bigger capital projects that are planned for this year.
Thompson said that public outreach is a priority of the City, as getting the public involved in their neighborhood improvement projects is key to making the project a successful one.
