The Sheridan City Council got their first look at the new Utilities Manager at their meeting Monday night, as Dan Roberts was introduced to the Council. Roberts explains what he hopes to bring to the position.
Roberts has been on the job for a week now, and while having to deal with two water lines breaking in as many days was a bit unexpected, needless to say he's anxious to continue working with the staff of the Public Works department.
Roberts comes to Sheridan from Gillette, where he spent 15 years in the engineering department, and the last three years as a consultant. Roberts replaces Dan Miller, who resigned from the position in September of 2010.
