For two weeks in May, the Sheridan City Council held hour long budget work sessions over the lunch hour to get a better understanding of where the money is being spent, and what projects its being spent on. Tonight, the Council will hold a public hearing on the budget resolution before ultimately adopting the budget for fiscal year 2014.
This is the first time going through the budgeting process for Ward Three City Councilman Levi Dominguez, who says that the daily budget work sessions helped the Council get a better understanding of the day to day process of the City.
The Council will also be considering a resolution regarding the Cloud Peak Ranch 17th filing, which is a request to subdivide a single tract into 36 lots and 4 outlots on just under 14 acres west of the Mydland Road and Bruce Mountain Drive intersection.
The Council tabled the item earlier this year in January. Tonight's Sheridan City Council meeting will get underway at 7 o'clock and can be heard live on AM 1410 KWYO.
