City Council Approves Requests From Buffalo Youth Baseball

At their meeting this week, the Buffalo City Council approved a number of requests from the Buffalo Youth Baseball League.

Aprroved was a request for them to operate the concessions trailer at Prosinski Park for the duration of their summer season from May 1st to July 22nd.

Also approved was a request for the city to shut down a section of Angus Street in front of the Posey Patch June 1st and 2nd and the installation of a radar trailer to keep the speeds down in the area while they host a baseball tournament that weekend.

The league was also approved to shut down a portion of Main Street for their Opening Day Parade May 18th at 8:30am.

Finally, they requested the council give them control over the new baseball and softball fields at the new Sports Fileelds Complex once they are ready to use.

Mayor Randy Dyess gave his recommendation.

Also approved by the council was Buffalo Youth Baseball League to operate the concessions at the new Sports Fileds Complex once it is open for use.
