The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting Monday to allow for a public hearing on the assessment role for Sheridan Commercial Park Special Improvement District #78. The public hearing was an opportunity for the property owners within the Commercial Park to protest the assessment schedule for the project.
There were no protests and the Council approved an ordinance on first reading that confirms the assessment roll for the SID, which will assess the costs of construction of the improvements against the lots and parcels of land within the special improvement district. The City Council will hold another special meeting this Thursday at noon to consider the ordinance on second reading. The infrastructure project, that includes street and drainage improvements will cost $973, 511.
