Julie Silbernagel, Buffalo's City Clerk, also contributed to the State of the City Address on Wednesday, reporting that the city's financial health was good.
Silbernagel also gave updates on the various departments in the city and what they had accomplished in 2010 and their plans for this year. She explains where the city gets its funding and where the city's expenditures go.
Silbernagel also reported that the various department heads have turned in their 'wish lists' for one-percent funding, which the application to the state is due January 18th.
And she put a call out to citizens to step forward and volunteer to serve on a number of boards that have openings to fill. For those that may be interested, contact her at City Hall.
