City Budget Work Session: Second Half of Public Works

Tuesday's Sheridan City Council Budget work session was the second half of the Public Works Department as the presentation focused on the Building Department and the Planning and Engineering divisions.

City Public Works Director Nic Bateson stated to the Council that those three areas of Public Works have reduced their budgets significantly in the last two years.

Bateson also pointed out that City Planning Director Robert Briggs has taken on the role of Economic Development Manager for the City.

The City will hold their final budget work session Thursday at noon, when City Treasurer Jennifer Reed will give a budget overview and wrap-up.
