In late February, the Sheridan County Commissioners issued a letter to each member of the Sheridan City Council along with Mayor Dave Kinskey about a possibly meeting to discuss areas of mutual interest. The first of what could be three meetings between the council and commissioners is scheduled for next Monday night (April 21) at 6 o'clock in Council Chambers at City Hall.
Commissioner Bob Rolston says that the meeting will be good forboth parties.
One of the main topics to be discussed at next week's joint meeting is the memorandum of understanding between the County and the City regarding annexation of county land and roads into the City. Two additional meetings have been scheduled, May 5th and May 19th if needed.
