Members of the Sheridan City Council along with Mayor Dave Kinskey held their first sit down meeting with the Sheridan County Commissioners a couple of weeks ago. As previously reported, the two sides agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding between the two regarding annexation of county roads, needs to be re-addressed soon.
County Commissioner Bob Rolston says that he's pleased with the progress that was made from that first meeting.
Rolston stated that it's still up in the air as to what will be addressed at the next meeting.
The next City/County meeting is scheduled to take place at 6 o'clock Monday night in Council Chambers at Sheridan City Hall. If necessary, the two governmental bodies will meet again Monday May 19, prior to the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
