City Adopts East 5th Corridor Plan

After two years of garnering community input and a number of revisions to the document, the Sheridan City Council adopted the East 5th Street Corridor Plan Monday night. City Planning Director Robert Briggs defines what the plan is about.

Briggs says that public safety and aesthetics played a major part in crafting the plan.

Briggs said that there are a number of steps of implementation of the plan, some with a very short time frame, some expected to take a bit longer when connected with future capital construction projects, such as the reconstruction of East 5th Street.
