Today marks “Black Friday,” and for Sheridan, that means the 17th annual Christmas Stroll downtown. Judy Taylor is serving on the committee again this year, as she has since the local tradition began. She said The Stroll pre-dates the spending frenzy presently associated with the day after Thanksgiving.
Taylor said even the Stroll Buttons have come a long way since they were first invented.
Tonight's stroll will entail free food, hot chocolate and fireworks.
Sheridan continues the Christmas Stroll tradition tonight at 4 in the historic district downtown.
