It just wouldn't be Christmas without homemade Christmas cookies. With most moms working and schedules tight, sometimes there's just not enough time to bake up those melt-in-your mouth baked delights.
First United Methodist Church here in Sheridan has come up with a solution. Saturday they held their 3rd annual Gingerbread Cookie House. Zell Derryberry explains.
There were thousands of cookies and candies to choose from and all were sold by the pound. Besides helping busy bakers out during the holiday season, there was another reason behind the sale as Derryberry tells us.
Now, that's a win-win solution, both for busy bakers and modernizing a church building. The project is the brainchild of Kim Hein.
