Sheridan College in Johnson County will host an artist reception next week for Todd Cornell, who spent 20 years of his life living in China and other parts of Asia, learning the culture, history, languages and of course, their art.
His exhibit, “Todd Cornell-20 Years In China” began showing March 1st and will continue to be the featured art at SCJC until May 31st.
Multiple mediums will be on display at the exhibit.
Cornell is the Johnson County Prevention Professional with the
Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming.
Next Wednesday, April 10th, SCJC will host the Artist Reception where Cornell will give a lecture on the art of China and share experiences on his many years living in Asia, and China in particular.
The college also would like to announce they will be offering a Chinese Language class this fall for those who would like to learn Mandarin Chinese, taught by Cornell.
The lecture will begin at 6:30pm and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
