Chief Market Strategist and Vice President for investment advisement company D. A. Davidson, Fred Dickson, will be making his annual market outlook presentation in Sheridan later today. His presentation will take place at the Wyo Theater with a reception at 4:30 p.m. and the presentation at 5:30 p.m.
The presentation is titled, "Investing in Transitional Times," and Dickson will provide an overview of our market landscape following the re-election of President Obama and our current economic outlook.
Dickson visited with Public Pulse host Kim Love on Tuesday and broke down some of what happened in 2012.
He says the unemployment number of 7.8 percent was better than expected in 2012, but that's not attributed to more Americans finding jobs.
But what about the next few years? Dickson says he predicts that if the Federal Reserve continues its current policies, interest rates could rise.
Dickson's presentation is free and all are welcome to the Wyo Theater this afternoon at 4:30 pm.
