Sheridan Police Chief Rich Adriaens was a guest this week on our Public Pulse news talk show.

During the interview, he gave an update on the investigation into the tire slashings of vehicles parked in the lot of the Rails Brews and Cues bar.

He did say his department now plans to work with management of the bar to develop better procedures to possibly circumvent any further altercations.

In this type of situation, he said, they try to work with the business owner, and in this particular incident, the focus is to cut down on calls to the establishment.

He also gave listeners a first-look at a state report on alcohol and crime that he helps develop as part of his work as president of the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police, called WASCOP.

The information provided through the report is important, he said, because it helps policy makers across the state make informed decisions. He said the report won’t actually be released until the end of the month at the WASCOP conference. So, the Public Pulse listeners were hearing the first report released to the public.
