Chief Carder Gives Report to Buffalo Council

Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder gave his end of the month report for July to the City Council at their meeting.

In addition to requesting the council accept the bids for a new Police Interceptor, he reported that 1,299 incidents occurred in July, and that dispatch had handled 4,60 total calls in the center.

ACO Karen Kimutis responded to three calls in the county and they will be charge $150 for those responses.

Carder also asked the council for approval to accept the 2014 grants for Tobacco Compliance Checks and Alcohol Compliance Checks in the amount of $3,400 each.

Carder explained what his department will be doing in the coming weeks with planned events.

Longmire Days will be this weekend in Buffalo.
